**Role:** Electrical Draftsman – Substations

**Responsibilities:**

• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for substation projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure that drawings comply with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings and update documentation based on changes during construction.
• Coordinate with other drafting team members and disciplines (mechanical, civil) for integrated designs.
• Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and project reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software, and drafting techniques.

**Requirements:**

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman, with a focus on substation projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components used in substations.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other stakeholders.
• Understanding of project timelines and the ability to meet deadlines.
